About the role

LumenWorks is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a MongoDB Specialist to ensure data layers scale, stay consistent, and support real‑time features across iOS and Android clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas optimized for mobile sync patterns
• Set up sharding and indexing strategies to handle burst traffic at launch
• Collaborate with React Native and native mobile teams to define API contracts
• Write aggregation pipelines for analytics dashboards used by product managers
• Conduct performance testing and fine‑tune queries for low latency

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB data modeling and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS for backend services
• Understanding of mobile data synchronization challenges
• Ability to write clear documentation and share knowledge with cross‑functional teams

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React or React Native integration points
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
• Knowledge of cloud‑native MongoDB deployments (e.g., Atlas)
