About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a React Native developer who can embed robust security controls directly into the mobile client layer, ensuring data protection and compliance across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and token‑based authentication into existing React Native codebases.
• Audit and remediate security vulnerabilities in third‑party libraries.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align mobile security with API gateways.
• Write automated tests covering security edge cases and perform code reviews focused on hardening.
• Document security patterns and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience securing Android and iOS apps.
• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote freelance setting.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security services (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds.
