Senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer – DevOps Automation

About the role

BrightMart Solutions is building a unified integration layer called BillingSync Hub to connect its billing platform, CRM system, and several internal APIs. As a Terraform Infrastructure Engineer you will design and provision the underlying cloud resources that enable seamless data flow and high‑availability across these services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Terraform modules for VPC, subnets, and security groups supporting the BillingSync Hub.
• Automate provisioning of AWS ECS clusters and RDS instances that host the integration micro‑services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to validate, plan, and apply Terraform changes on each sprint.
• Collaborate with the backend team to embed Terraform state locking using DynamoDB and S3 backend.
• Conduct performance testing of the provisioned environment and optimize cost‑effective scaling policies.
• Document infrastructure diagrams and hand‑off procedures for the operations team.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on Terraform experience on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of IaC best practices, state management, and module design.
• Proficiency with Docker containers and container orchestration basics.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation tasks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform Cloud or Enterprise workspaces.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus or CloudWatch.
