Terraform Engineer – Automated Cloud Migration

About the role

CloudWave Digital is scaling its test automation framework to cut regression risk before each product launch. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code that powers automated test environments across AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable Terraform modules for test labs, CI runners, and shared services
• Integrate Terraform pipelines with existing CI/CD tools to provision environments on demand
• Collaborate with QA leads to map test scenarios to infrastructure requirements
• Implement state management, versioning, and security best practices
• Monitor and optimize cost and performance of test clusters

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Terraform on AWS
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to script infrastructure automation and troubleshoot provisioning issues
• Experience with version control and collaborative IaC practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
• Knowledge of container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Background in performance testing or load generation
