About the role

Northbay Systems is building a unified integration layer that ties together its billing platform, CRM, and internal APIs. As a Vue.js Frontend Developer you will create the user‑facing components of the BillingBridge UI, ensuring seamless data flow and real‑time updates across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive Vue.js screens for the BillingBridge UI using Vue 3, Composition API, and Pinia for state management.
• Integrate RESTful services from the billing engine, CRM, and internal micro‑services, handling authentication tokens and error handling.
• Implement UI testing with Cypress and unit tests with Jest to guarantee feature stability before each sprint.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and mock endpoints using Swagger.
• Optimize bundle size with Vite, code‑splitting, and lazy loading to meet performance SLAs.
• Document component usage and integration patterns in Confluence for future maintenance.

Must-have skills

• Proficient in Vue.js (Vue 3) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
• Hands‑on with state management (Pinia or Vuex) and API consumption (Axios, Fetch).
• Familiarity with build tools like Vite/Webpack and CI pipelines.
• Ability to write unit and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Cypress).

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript in Vue projects.
• Knowledge of GraphQL for data fetching.
