Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, customer service, and office management
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Handle customer inquiries and respond to emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events, as required
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents, as needed
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues on administrative procedures and software applications
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Participate in special projects and tasks, as assigned by management
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve administrative processes
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning, as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a business or consulting environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting practices
  • Proficiency in data entry and management, with ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Certification in office administration or related field an asset
