About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a new mobile solution to streamline client communications. We need an Android Developer to build a native app that integrates with our existing backend services and delivers a smooth user experience on a range of devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core UI components using modern Android architecture.
• Integrate RESTful APIs for data synchronization and real‑time updates.
• Write clean, maintainable Kotlin and Java code following best practices.
• Perform unit and UI testing to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into functional screens.
• Optimize app performance and resolve bugs throughout the development cycle.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
• Proficiency in consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components and MVVM pattern.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write unit and instrumentation tests.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern UI frameworks such as Compose.
• Exposure to Firebase services for analytics and push notifications.
