About the role

Silverline Labs is preparing a high‑traffic mobile app store release and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to align backend services with mobile performance goals. You will work closely with mobile developers to ensure low latency, secure APIs and scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AWS resources (VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS) supporting the upcoming app launch.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that integrate mobile build artifacts with backend services.
• Optimize cost, performance, and security for API gateways and Lambda functions.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to troubleshoot latency and connectivity issues.
• Document architecture decisions and handover procedures.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Proficient in containerization using Docker and orchestration on ECS/EKS.
• Strong DevOps mindset with automated deployments and monitoring.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile‑backend integrations (e.g., AWS AppSync, Amplify).
• Familiarity with Terraform or CDK.
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile APIs.
