Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of our applications with our cloud infrastructure.
• Work with our operations team to ensure the highest levels of uptime and performance, and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Develop and implement automated deployment scripts and tools to streamline our deployment processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze our cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations as needed.
• Develop and maintain our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that our applications are properly tested and validated before deployment.
• Collaborate with our security team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain our disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is resilient and can recover quickly in the event of an outage or disaster.
• Participate in our on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support for our cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Develop and maintain our technical documentation, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure and applications are properly documented and easy to understand.
• Collaborate with our development teams to identify and prioritize technical debt, and develop plans to address it.
• Participate in our agile development process, working closely with our development teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure and applications meet the needs of our customers.
• Develop and maintain our cloud cost management and optimization strategies, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is cost-effective and optimized for performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, with a strong background in cloud computing and infrastructure development.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with experience in developing automated deployment scripts and tools.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience in ensuring the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in complex cloud-based systems.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management and optimization principles and practices, with experience in developing and implementing cost-effective cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
