Key Responsibilities
- Researching and writing high-quality content for a variety of projects, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and website content
- Collaborating with editors, designers, and project managers to ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance
- Developing and implementing content strategies and plans to meet client goals and objectives
- Conducting research and interviews to gather information and insights for content projects
- Writing and editing content for a variety of formats, including digital and print media
- Optimizing content for search engines and social media platforms
- Managing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content
- Collaborating with the design team to develop visual content, such as infographics and videos
- Analyzing content performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their content needs and preferences
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in content creation and digital media
- Participating in brainstorming and planning sessions to develop new content ideas and strategies
- Providing training and support to junior team members to help them develop their content writing skills
Requirements
- A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in content writing, editing, or a related field
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex information
- Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Experience with social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Knowledge of SEO principles and practices, with the ability to optimize content for search engines
