About the role

We are building a robust data pipeline to feed analytics for operations teams. The Database Administrator will design, implement, and maintain scalable databases that support real‑time reporting and batch processing.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL schemas for high‑throughput pipelines
• Automate data ingestion workflows and ensure data quality across sources
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and manage indexing strategies
• Implement backup, recovery, and security policies aligned with compliance standards
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to translate analytics requirements into reliable storage solutions

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Strong SQL proficiency and query optimization expertise
• Experience with ETL tools or custom pipeline scripting
• Knowledge of cloud database services and monitoring tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to data warehouse concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
