About the role

Summit Digital is preparing a major app store release that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and monitor the deployment pipeline that supports rapid feature delivery and reliable scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend components
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Configure AWS resources for secure, cost‑effective hosting
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for release health
• Collaborate with developers to streamline build and test processes

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Understanding of mobile‑backend integration challenges

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app release pipelines (iOS/Android)
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of security best practices for API services
