About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and implement robust security controls across our CI/CD pipelines and cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing infrastructure and identify security gaps
• Implement automated hardening scripts for Docker images and Kubernetes clusters
• Configure AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config) to enforce policies
• Integrate vulnerability scanning into CI/CD workflows
• Document security standards and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing AWS workloads
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes hardening techniques
• Strong CI/CD pipeline automation (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Understanding of IAM, network policies, and compliance frameworks

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for secure IaC
• Familiarity with container security tools (Aqua, Trivy)
• Background in penetration testing or red‑team exercises
