About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a rapid‑release sprint to tighten its CI/CD flow and automate platform provisioning. We need a DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune the pipeline so the team can ship features daily with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable CI/CD pipeline on AWS using Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Containerize legacy services with Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes
• Automate environment provisioning and secret management for staging and production
• Integrate automated testing and security scans into the release workflow
• Document processes and handover guidelines for the internal team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines on AWS
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools
• Hands‑on scripting for automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and rollback strategies

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm charts and service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2)
• Background in performance tuning of container workloads
