About the role
BlueSky Ventures is launching an integration project that ties billing, CRM, and internal APIs into a seamless workflow. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and monitor the deployment pipelines that keep these services reliable and secure.
Key responsibilities
- Build CI/CD pipelines for micro‑services using AWS CodePipeline or similar tools
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable billing and CRM connectors
- Monitor performance, logs, and alerts across integrated APIs
- Collaborate with developers to streamline release cycles and troubleshoot integration issues
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for production workloads
- Hands‑on CI/CD implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline
- Solid scripting abilities (Bash, Python) for automation
- Understanding of API security and networking basics
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with billing platforms or CRM systems integration
- Knowledge of monitoring stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana
