About the role

CloudWave Digital is modernizing its release workflow by adding a robust test automation layer for its React front‑end. We need a focused Frontend React Developer to design and implement automated UI tests that cut regression risk before each launch. You will work closely with QA and product owners to ensure coverage aligns with critical user paths.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a Cypress or Playwright test suite for core features
• Integrate automated tests into the CI pipeline and monitor flakiness
• Refactor existing components to be more test‑friendly without breaking UI
• Document test scenarios and best practices for the team
• Provide quick feedback on UI bugs during sprint cycles

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience writing UI automation scripts (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium)
• Proficient HTML/CSS for building stable test selectors
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and test integration
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience with Storybook or component libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility testing tools
• Background in performance testing of React apps
