About the role

Harbor Softworks is accelerating its release cadence with a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and enhance our GraphQL layer, ensuring seamless integration with existing services and rapid delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize GraphQL schemas for new and existing features
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed schema validation into the pipeline
• Write clear documentation and usage guides for internal teams
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks in production

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Strong knowledge of React and NodeJS ecosystems
• Understanding of REST API patterns and migration strategies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for service containerization
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for GraphQL
