About the role

Ridgeline Software is preparing a new app store release that demands tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement the core data layer that powers the upcoming mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design a scalable GraphQL schema that mirrors existing REST endpoints
• Integrate GraphQL resolvers with NodeJS services and React‑native clients
• Optimize query performance and implement caching strategies
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to ensure data contracts stay in sync
• Write comprehensive tests and documentation for API contracts

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Proficiency with NodeJS and REST API concepts
• Hands‑on knowledge of React integration patterns
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and error handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile backend scaling and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with TypeScript and schema‑first development
