About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and fortify our API layer against emerging threats while keeping performance high.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend GraphQL schemas to support new security features.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using industry‑standard protocols.
• Audit and refactor existing resolvers for injection resistance and data leakage prevention.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security checks into CI pipelines.
• Document API contracts and security guidelines for internal teams.

Must-have skills

• 2+ years building production GraphQL services.
• Strong grasp of security best practices for APIs.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and experience with React front‑ends.
• Understanding of REST API concepts and integration patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS security services.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools for API security.
