About the role

NovaForge Tech is accelerating its release cadence with a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. As a GraphQL API Developer you will build and enhance the PulseDeploy module, a core component that orchestrates automated builds, tests, and deployments for our GraphQL services. Your work will directly enable faster, more reliable releases across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas for the PulseDeploy automation layer using Node.js and Apollo Server.
• Integrate CI pipelines in GitHub Actions to trigger schema validation, unit tests, and automated deployments.
• Develop custom scripts to provision Docker containers and Kubernetes jobs for each release stage.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed monitoring hooks and rollback mechanisms within the API.
• Document API contracts and versioning strategy to support seamless client integration.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency with GraphQL schema design and resolvers.
• Strong NodeJS and JavaScript development experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience writing automated tests for API endpoints.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Understanding of performance tuning for GraphQL queries.
