Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Android applications using Java and Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and quality assurance to ensure that Android apps meet the highest standards of quality and user experience
• Develop and implement new features, functionalities, and technologies to enhance the performance and capabilities of Android apps
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Android apps to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android app development
• Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for Android apps
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Android apps, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve defects, and to ensure that Android apps meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
• Develop and implement automated testing scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of Android apps
• Participate in the development of technical roadmaps, and contribute to the planning and execution of Android app development projects
• Collaborate with the product team to develop and prioritize product backlogs, and to ensure that Android apps meet the needs and expectations of customers
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Android app development best practices, including security, performance, and user experience

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Android app development using Java and Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Android app development best practices, including security, performance, and user experience
• Experience with Android development frameworks, including Android Studio, Gradle, and Android NDK
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, including MVP, MVVM, and MVC
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation
• Experience with testing frameworks, including JUnit and Espresso
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQLite and Room
• Experience with cloud-based services, including Firebase and AWS
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
