About the role

NexGen Media is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a React Native Developer to create mobile tools that surface real‑time metrics and allow on‑the‑go data exploration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement React Native screens that ingest streaming data from our backend services
• Integrate native modules for Android and iOS to handle offline caching and background sync
• Collaborate with data engineers to define API contracts and ensure data quality on the client
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability in low‑bandwidth environments
• Document component libraries and contribute to shared UI guidelines

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript
• Hands‑on experience building native features for Android and iOS
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and real‑time data streams
• Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control

Nice to have

• Familiarity with analytics SDKs (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Experience with TypeScript in a mobile context
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
