Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Customer-Facing DevOps Automation

About the role

Summit Digital is expanding a multi‑tenant feature set for its B2B platform. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune the underlying cloud architecture while ensuring isolation and scalability for each tenant.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision secure, multi‑account AWS environments using IaC (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and configure ECS/EKS clusters for tenant isolation
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment across tenant pipelines
• Monitor performance, set up alerts, and optimize cost without sacrificing SLA
• Collaborate with product owners to translate feature specs into cloud‑native solutions

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda)
• Proficient in Docker containerization and orchestration
• Strong DevOps mindset: CI/CD, IaC, automated testing
• Linux system administration and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with serverless patterns
• Knowledge of security best practices for multi‑account setups
