Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for Security Audit

About the role

We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and remediation planning to elevate our security posture across multiple SaaS services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on cloud workloads and APIs
• Design and implement hardening controls for IAM, network, and container environments
• Develop automated scanning scripts using Python and integrate findings into CI pipelines
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to remediate identified gaps
• Document security standards, audit trails, and incident response procedures

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST)
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Deep knowledge of Linux system hardening and monitoring
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and cloud IAM policies

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in incident response and forensics
