Senior DevOps Engineer for Customer-Facing Observability Stack Setup

About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and implement zero‑downtime deployment pipelines, refactor infrastructure as code, and improve observability across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Build CI/CD pipelines that support blue‑green and canary releases
• Migrate legacy services to containerized workloads on AWS
• Implement Terraform modules for reproducible environments
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for seamless failover
• Collaborate with developers to embed reliability best practices

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering in production
• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Proven experience building zero‑downtime CI/CD workflows
• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Infrastructure‑as‑code proficiency, preferably Terraform

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Knowledge of chaos engineering tools
• Background in legacy monolith decomposition
