Senior GraphQL API Developer for High-Volume API Gateway Setup

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design, implement, and audit secure GraphQL services that protect sensitive data and integrate with existing REST endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop hardened GraphQL schemas and resolvers using NodeJS
• Implement authentication, authorization, and rate‑limiting mechanisms
• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for API endpoints
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure CI/CD pipelines
• Document API contracts and security guidelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Proficiency with NodeJS and React for client‑side integration
• Deep understanding of REST API security patterns
• Familiarity with OWASP API Security Top 10

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of automated security testing tools
