About the role
DataPro Services is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign the client app, integrate modern APIs, and ensure zero‑downtime deployments while preserving existing user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor legacy Swift codebase to Swift 5+ standards
- Implement robust networking layer using REST APIs with retry and caching
- Design and deploy blue‑green releases to avoid service interruptions
- Write unit and UI tests to guarantee stability during updates
- Collaborate with backend engineers to align data contracts and performance goals
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Deep knowledge of Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and App Store submission process
- Proven track record with zero‑downtime rollout strategies
- Strong understanding of RESTful API integration and security
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS (Fastlane, Bitrise)
- Familiarity with legacy code migration patterns
