About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a sprint to turbo‑charge its release pipeline. We need a Microservices Architect to design and implement CI/CD and platform automation that speeds up delivery while keeping reliability high.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for microservice deployments
• Automate environment provisioning with IaC tools
• Integrate testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to refactor services for container orchestration
• Document standards and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong Java development background
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
