Senior MongoDB Specialist Needed for Secure Database Migration

About the role

We are overhauling the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing services. As a MongoDB Specialist you will design, tune, and secure the data layer to handle high traffic loads.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current MongoDB deployments and identify bottlenecks
• Implement sharding, indexing, and query optimization strategies
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and automated backup procedures
• Collaborate with backend engineers to refactor data access patterns
• Document best practices and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB performance tuning and scaling
• Strong understanding of data modeling for high‑throughput applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and related tech stack

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for database containerization
• Experience with cloud‑native MongoDB services (Atlas, etc.)
