About the role

Summit Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a .NET Core Developer to tighten defenses, audit code, and implement best‑practice controls across Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing .NET Core services for security gaps and remediate vulnerabilities
• Integrate Azure Security Center recommendations and enforce role‑based access
• Implement secure authentication flows using Azure AD and managed identities
• Write automated tests to verify security controls and regression safety
• Document hardened architecture and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams

Must-have skills

• 5+ years developing with .NET Core and C#
• Deep experience securing Azure cloud workloads
• Proficiency with OWASP guidelines and threat modeling
• Strong unit‑testing and CI/CD pipeline skills

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with automated security scanning tools
