About the role

Vertex Analytics is revamping a high‑traffic legacy production platform. We need a Node.js Developer to engineer a zero‑downtime migration to modern micro‑services while preserving existing functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Node.js services to replace legacy components
• Set up blue‑green and canary deployment pipelines for seamless cut‑over
• Refactor critical code paths for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with QA and ops to validate zero‑downtime targets
• Document APIs and migration steps for internal teams

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Node.js development
• Deep experience with Express and RESTful API design
• Proven track record of zero‑downtime releases
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) expertise
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and containerization

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• Knowledge of legacy monolith modernization patterns
• Background in monitoring and observability tools
