Senior PHP Developer Needed for Laravel API Build Sprint

About the role

LumenWorks is launching a focused sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform deployment. We need a seasoned PHP Developer to embed automated testing, container orchestration, and release workflows into our existing Laravel stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Containerize Laravel services with Docker and manage environments via Docker‑Compose.
• Integrate automated unit, integration, and security tests into the release cycle.
• Collaborate with DevOps to align infrastructure as code with application requirements.
• Document pipeline architecture and hand over knowledge to the internal team.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of PHP development, deep Laravel expertise.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for PHP applications.
• Strong MySQL schema design and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or serverless deployments.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK).
