About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the data layer that powers seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL clusters for high availability and low latency.
• Develop ETL pipelines to synchronize billing data with CRM and internal services.
• Optimize queries and indexes for cross‑system reporting.
• Implement robust backup, recovery, and security policies.
• Collaborate with dev teams to expose data via RESTful endpoints.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and schema design.
• Experience with data integration tools and API‑driven workflows.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL for hybrid data stores.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization.
