About the role

Keystone Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to lead database security enhancements, audit configurations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security assessments of PostgreSQL clusters across AWS and GCP.
• Implement role‑based access controls, encryption at rest, and audit logging.
• Patch and upgrade instances while minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security policies into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document hardening procedures and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices, SSL/TLS, and IAM.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL migrations.
• Certifications such as AWS Security or CISSP.
