About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a critical product and needs a PostgreSQL Administrator to drive test automation uplift, reducing regression risk before go‑live. You will partner with QA and DevOps to embed robust database testing into CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated PostgreSQL test suites for schema changes and data migrations
• Integrate database tests with existing CI/CD workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance regressions during test runs
• Document test strategies and share best practices with the team
• Ensure data integrity and security compliance in automated scenarios

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Proven experience building test automation for databases
• Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning abilities
• Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions

Nice to have

• Exposure to MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database testing
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for isolated test environments
