About the role

NexGen Media seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain highly available services for a fast‑growing streaming platform. You will own reliability engineering tasks, automate operational processes, and ensure performance meets user expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate scalable monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed SRE best practices.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning across cloud resources.
• Document runbooks and post‑mortem analyses.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and networking.
• Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to have

• Experience with chaos engineering practices.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
