About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is building a data pipeline and analytics platform to empower operations teams. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud resources that support real‑time data flows and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Kinesis) for data ingestion and processing.
• Containerize ETL components with Docker and orchestrate them using ECS or EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure data security compliance.
• Collaborate with data analysts to refine pipeline requirements.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with AWS core services and networking.
• Strong Docker containerization knowledge.
• Solid DevOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.
• Linux system administration expertise.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data streaming tools such as Kinesis or Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring stacks like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (IAM, KMS).
