About the role
DataPro Services is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote-first team. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to shape the core infrastructure from scratch, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement VPC, subnets, and security groups for a multi‑tenant environment
- Automate provisioning using IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads on ECS/EKS
- Monitor performance and optimize resource usage with CloudWatch and Cost Explorer
- Collaborate with developers to integrate services and troubleshoot production issues
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Proficiency in Docker containerization
- Solid DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline creation
- Linux system administration and scripting
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
