About the role

NovaForge Tech is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security best practices while ensuring high availability and fast response times. You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to harden systems without sacrificing speed.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and remediate security gaps in service architectures
• Implement monitoring and alerting for performance‑related threats
• Develop automated scripts to enforce security policies on Linux hosts
• Collaborate on incident response plans focused on service continuity
• Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and threat modeling
• Proficiency in Python for automation and analysis
• Extensive experience with Linux system hardening
• Ability to interpret logs and network traffic for performance issues
• Excellent communication for cross‑team collaboration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline security integration
• Certifications such as CISSP or OSCP
