About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across our SaaS stack.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for cloud workloads.
• Develop and enforce security policies, IAM roles, and encryption standards.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and remediate findings.
• Automate security checks using Python scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security into deployment workflows.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with security tooling and incident response.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Solid Linux administration and hardening knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture.
