About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching an integration project to unify billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and automate the pipeline that stitches these systems together while ensuring reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement CI/CD workflows for multi‑service deployments
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Configure AWS resources (ECS, RDS, S3) for seamless data flow
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for integration health
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure as code practices

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation)
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Ability to script automation in Bash/Python

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC
• Familiarity with API gateway and service mesh concepts
• Background in billing or CRM system integrations
