About the role

Northbay Systems is boosting its test automation framework to cut regression risk before each launch. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, containerize, and orchestrate the automation pipelines, ensuring reliable, repeatable builds across environments.

Key responsibilities

• Containerize existing test suites using Docker and publish to a secure registry
• Build and maintain Kubernetes manifests for scalable CI/CD execution
• Integrate automated tests into existing pipelines and monitor job health
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define test coverage metrics and failure alerts
• Document deployment patterns and best‑practice guidelines for the team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker image creation and management
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (deployments, services, Helm charts)
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for cluster provisioning
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
