About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a new data‑driven product that relies on a fast, scalable GraphQL API. We need a developer who can design, implement, and optimize the API layer, ensuring seamless integration with existing services and front‑end applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a GraphQL schema that meets product requirements
• Implement resolvers using NodeJS and integrate with existing REST endpoints
• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to ensure optimal data fetching
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot API issues

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of REST API concepts
• Experience with React integration
• Ability to write efficient, well‑documented code

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar frameworks
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
