About the role

Orbit Labs is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and integrate robust automation scripts into our CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable test libraries using Node.js and Express
• Create and maintain REST API endpoints for test orchestration
• Integrate automated suites with existing CI/CD tools
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define coverage criteria
• Document test cases and provide clear failure diagnostics

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and debugging
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Understanding of test automation concepts and tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Mocha, Jest or similar testing frameworks
• Experience with CI platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Docker for isolated test environments
