Node.js Developer Needed for Automated Queue Worker Setup

About the role

We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. As a Node.js Developer you will reinforce authentication, harden APIs, and implement security best practices while keeping performance intact.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Node.js services for vulnerabilities and apply patches
• Integrate secure token handling and rate‑limiting mechanisms
• Refactor code to use security‑focused middleware and libraries
• Write unit and integration tests covering new security controls
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security patterns
• Proficiency building and securing REST APIs
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and threat modeling

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in penetration testing or security audits
