About the role

BlueSky Ventures is creating a robust data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a PHP Developer who can design, build, and integrate backend services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data for dashboards and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable PHP services for data ingestion
• Develop ETL routines using Laravel to cleanse and enrich raw feeds
• Create RESTful endpoints that deliver processed metrics to analytics tools
• Optimize MySQL schemas for high‑volume transactional loads
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to align pipelines with business goals

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
• Deep experience with MySQL performance tuning and schema design
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and API development
• Ability to write clean, testable, and documented code

Nice to have

• Familiarity with queue systems like Redis or RabbitMQ
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP) for data processing
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
