PHP Developer Needed for Customer-Facing CMS Customization

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform release workflow. We need a PHP Developer who can embed automation into existing Laravel services and streamline deployments for faster, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD scripts using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for PHP/Laravel projects
• Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and container builds into the release cycle
• Refactor deployment scripts to support zero‑downtime rollouts on cloud environments
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure end‑to‑end pipeline stability
• Document automation processes and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP development experience, especially with Laravel
• Proficiency in MySQL schema design and query optimization
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines for web applications
• Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization tools

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or cloud‑native deployment platforms
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like PHPUnit
• Background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
