About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for cloud‑hosted applications. We need a PHP Developer to reinforce codebases, audit configurations, and embed best‑practice safeguards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security reviews of existing PHP services and libraries
• Implement hardening measures such as input validation, output encoding, and secure session handling
• Collaborate with DevOps to configure secure server environments and CI pipelines
• Write automated tests to verify vulnerability mitigations
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance to the team

Must-have skills

• Proven PHP development experience (3+ years)
• Strong understanding of web security OWASP Top 10
• Hands‑on with Laravel framework and MySQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Knowledge of automated security scanning tools
