About the role

CoreData Systems is building a next‑gen testing framework called "PulseGuard" to lift test automation coverage and cut regression risk ahead of product launches. As a Prompt Engineer you will craft and fine‑tune prompts that drive AI‑assisted test case generation, validation, and reporting within this ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design prompt templates for automated test script synthesis using LLMs in the PulseGuard pipeline.
• Integrate prompt‑driven test generation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define edge‑case scenarios and validate prompt outputs against expected results.
• Iterate on prompt performance metrics, reducing false positives by at least 20% each sprint.
• Document prompt versioning and maintain a prompt library in a Git‑backed repository.
• Conduct weekly reviews of generated test suites and adjust prompts for new feature releases.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in crafting effective prompts for LLMs (GPT‑4, Claude, etc.).
• Strong Python scripting for prompt automation and data handling.
• Experience with JavaScript for integrating prompts into web‑based test dashboards.
• Knowledge of REST API design to expose generated test cases to downstream tools.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.

Nice to have

• Background in MLOps pipelines and model monitoring.
• Exposure to performance testing and load simulation tools.
