About the role

Cascade Apps is accelerating its release cadence with a focused sprint on CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that enable faster, reliable deployments across our services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Develop backend services and scripts that support deployment orchestration.
• Integrate testing, linting, and security checks into the pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure end‑to‑end release reliability.
• Document pipeline architecture and create runbooks for the team.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience (3+ years).
• Proficiency with Django and REST API design.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
